ONLY ON CVP: One person was taken by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center with minor injuries following a head-on crash near the Bergen Towne Center in Paramus.
A northbound Cadillac Escalade ended up in the southbound Forest Avenue turn lane for Shepherds Way, where it collided head-on with a Honda Accord that was then rear-ended by a para-transit van around 1:45 p.m.
All three vehicles had to be towed.
Members of Paramus Fire Company #2 tended to a fuel spill.
Paramus police and EMS also responded.
