ONLY ON CVP: A car fire in the garage of an Alpine house this afternoon spread to a room above, but firefighters quickly got it under control.
A resident apparently was working on the vehicle at Wilson Drive and Hillside Avenue when the blaze ignited around 2:30 p.m.
Alpine firefighters were joined by their colleagues from Closter, Demarest, harrington Park and Norwood.
No injuries were immediately reported.
