YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Ramapo College student was being held on $100,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail after Mahwah police charged him with dealing LSD, pot and other drugs from his dorm room.
Ramapo Public Safety officers summoned police Monday morning after smelling raw marijuana during a routine fire inspection, Police Chief James Batelli said this afternon.
They smelled it, too, and found “items commonly used to smoke marijuana in plain view,” the chief said.
A search turned up LSD, marijuana, prescription pills and DAB, a concentrated form of THC, along with a scale, drug paraphernalia and more than $10,000 in cash, Batelli said.
Police arrested Samuel Finkelstein, 19, of Wayne, on various drug possession charges with intent.
Batelli thanked Ramapo College officials for their assistance and cooperation.
