ONLY ON CVP: Two Maywood families were temporarily evacuated and one resident refused hospitalization after a gas line ruptured during road work leak this afternoon.
West Pleasant Avenue was closed between Palmer Avenue and Spring Valley Road while repairs were done.
Maywood firefighters and EMS responded along with PSE&G.
Paramus and Rochelle Park fire companies were briefly on standby.
