Three people were reported injured in a crash that left one of the vehicles on its side, its driver trapped.
Firefighters had to cut open a Nissan that was rammed by a Subaru hatchback on Palisade Avenue in order to free the female motorist.
Witnesses said Bogota Fire Lt. Joe DiMauro climbed in and positioned himself to relieve pressure on the pinned woman until she could be removed.
