UPDATE: A Glen Rock couple got out of their home of the last 52 years along with a home health aide before a basement fire rushed through the house and blew out the roof just after noon today.
Midland Park, Ridgewood and Fair Lawn firefighters joined their Glen Rock colleagues in putting down the Hazelhurst Avenue blaze, with Hawthorne providing mutual aid.
