UPDATE: Arson investigators were looking into what was preliminarily deemed a suspicious fire at an abandoned Curtiss Wright test cell in Wood-Ridge this afternoon.
The three-alarm blaze broke out among old pallets and tires around 1:10 p.m. in an area where engines were tested, Police Chief Joseph Rutigliano told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
Hasbrouck Heights, Little Ferry and South Hackensack responders were among those who joined their Wood-Ridge colleagues in putting it down.
