Cliffside Park police charged a Paterson parolee with assaulting a borough relative and stealing his car after they tracked him down with help from city police, the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and the state Parole Division.
Responding officers found the bleeding victim on the floor of his home at 1:10 a.m. Nov. 22, Police Chief Richard Gaito said Tuesday.
He was admitted to the ICU Unit of Hackensack University Medical Center with head trauma and a puncture wound and eventually recovered, Gaito said.
