Hackensack police who flooded a neighborhood Wednesday night caught an ex-con who they said tried to sexually assault a woman moments earlier — after having done the same thing a week ago.
Detectives and uniformed patrols were increased in the area of Main and Linden streets the past week following a Dec. 3 incident in which a woman said a man followed her after she’d just gotten off a bus and pulled her into a darkened area, Police Director Michael Mordaga told Daily Voice.
“She said he pulled out a handgun, took her purse and began going through it, then told her to take off her pants,” Mordaga told Daily Voice. READ MORE….
