One person was struck when a gunman approached a group of people in the parking lot of an Englewood housing complex parking lot and began shooting Monday night, Police Chief Lawrence Suffern told Daily Voice.
“There were several individuals in the parking lot” on Slocum Avenue around 6 p.m., Suffern said. “Someone approached them and fired multiple shots at them.
“One of them was struck in the lower extremities,” the chief said.
