A highly respected physician at Hackensack University Medical Center promised nearly two dozen local members of the New Jersey State First Aid Council that relationships will continue to improve between emergency room staff and volunteer EMS agencies.
Dr. Joseph Feldman “made the personal commitment to the volunteer agencies and promised to continue making changes until a resolution is reached,” one of nearly two dozen attendees told Daily Voice after a nearly two-hour meeting with hospital officials Tuesday night.
Members of the council’s 24th District called the meeting — also attended by colleagues from the 20th, 18th and 3rd at the Hackensack hospital — to discuss what they said were “ongoing issues with the emergency room.” READ MORE….
