YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 19-year-old Hackettstown man was arrested and charged yesterday with having sex with a 13-year-old Lodi girl.
Ahmed Hansford, who is single and unemployed, was arrested by detectives of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit and Lodi police after the girl disclosed the relationship to a caseworker from the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency, who immediately contacted authorities, Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this afternoon.
Hansford was being held on $151,000 bail, charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment.
A Feb. 14 arraignment date was set.
