New Milford pedestrian, 65, struck, killed by bus

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 65-year-old New Milford woman was killed last night when she was struck by a Rockland Coaches Red and Tan bus at Center Street and Boulevard.

Police and EMS attempted CPR at the scene but were unsuccessful, Police Chief Frank Papapietro told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The woman’s identity was being withheld until family members could arrive at the hospital, the chief said.

She was crossing the intersection of Center Street and Boulevard as the bus turned onto Boulevard from Center Street and struck her, the chief said.
