ONLY ON CVP: Several witnesses pointed police to a 24-year-old Hillsdale man who they said slashed the tires of his ex-girlfriend’s car in Ho-Ho-Kus.
Ridgewood police grabbed Shain Prefi a block from the First Street incident early yesterday evening. Bergen County Police assisted.
The damaged car was attended to by the driver of a AAA-affiliated tow truck. Police, meanwhile, impounded Prefi’s black Audi.
Prefi, 24, was being held on $15,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with harassment, criminal mischief, threatening to kill and weapons possession.
