Elmwood Park police were looking for a tall, older robber who they said took $1,300 in cash from a clothing store after ordering everyone to the floor.
Described as black, with a salt and pepper beard and wearing a dark hoodie, the 6-foot-5-inch bandit entered the Avenue Clothing Store at 100 Broadway around 9:15 p.m. Friday, Police Chief Michael Foligno said.
He had his hand in his pocket and pointed it at the everyone in the store, indicating that he had a weapon, while demanding money from the cash register, Foligno said. READ MORE….
