A Palisades Park man assaulted a 19-year-old woman in Ridgefield Park, then took her cellphone when she tried dialing 911 and drove her to Fairview, where he kept her captive in his car overnight, authorities told Daily Voice.
Police were looking for the woman, whose family reported her missing, when the 911 hangup came through, Palisades Park Police Chief Ben Ramos said Sunday night.
