A robber Thursday morning placed a bag on the counter of the Hudson City Savings branch in Lyndhurst, “told her to fill it,” then fled with an undetermined amount of cash, police told Daily Voice.
It was too early to tell whether the holdup was connected to robberies at three other Hudson City Savings Bank branches in Bergen County, the most recent on Nov. 6 in Glen Rock, Lyndhurst Police Capt. John Valente said.
The initial description in Lyndhurst on Thursday was of a tall, light-skinned black man with a medium build, wearing a dark sweatshirt and baseball cap, Valente told Daily Voice. READ MORE….
